Absolutely — we adore dogs! We provide water bowls and blankets for dogs to sit with their humans, we have options on our menu for them, and they're allowed everywhere in the pub. Please let us know if you are bringing any dogs so we can ensure there's enough space, and we do ask that all dogs be kept on leads if they struggle to settle.

Customers are always welcome to stay overnight in RVs! Just give us a heads-up when you book with us, but please be aware we don't have EHU or water available.

Two of our three entrances are wheelchair accessible, but unfortunately our toilets are not. While it's a short distance to the toilets and there aren't any steps, the doorways are unfortunately too narrow as it's such an old building.

We offer a great range of gluten and soy-free options. Some of our dishes can also be made gluten or soya-free – please feel free to ask when ordering!

Our kitchen is completely nut and peanut free! We actually only have 5 of the 'big 14' allergens in our kitchen: celery, gluten, mustard, sesame, soya, and sulphites. We aim to avoid cross contact as much as possible when necessary, so please let us know when booking and ordering.

There's a Premier Inn just a mile and a half away and Parkway Hotel & Spa just three miles away, both in Cwmbran.

There's also a great range of other amazing hotels and B&Bs within a 20 minute drive, including The Celtic Manor, The Priory Hotel, Best Western Pontypool, Mercure Newport, Travelodge Newport, and many more. There are also many more places to stay nearby on Airbnb!
